I had an incredible experience at this resort, surrounded by the beauty of the jungle. The villa was spacious and elegantly decorated, and the staff provided outstanding service. The complimentary welcome massage and yoga sessions were delightful. The only downside was the steep stairs in the villa, which might not be suitable for everyone. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and well worth the money!
Rooms

The villa was very large with a high pitched wooden ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows that allowed a lot of natural light and breathtaking views of the jungle. However, the steep spiral stairs between the levels could be a bit daunting.

My stay at Anahata Villas and Spa was absolutely enchanting, filled with luxurious amenities and breathtaking natural beauty. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, complemented by a serene ambiance that made for a peaceful retreat. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every need was met with a smile, making me feel genuinely welcomed. While the dining experience was delightful, a bit more variety at breakfast would have been appreciated. Overall, it's a gem in Ubud, perfect for those seeking relaxation in a lush setting.

5.4/10
The hotel is set in a beautiful location surrounded by lush greenery, and I was thrilled to be upgraded to a spacious 3-bedroom villa. However, the overall maintenance is lacking, and the dining options were quite limited and underwhelming. While the staff were nice, the overall experience fell short due to several service issues and cleanliness concerns.
Rooms
6.0
The villa was spacious, but the design was odd with a glass-walled bathroom which lacked privacy. It would have been nice to enjoy the jungle view from a terrace, but that was not an option.
Service
5.0
Although the staff were friendly, many requests went unanswered, and we encountered a lot of miscommunication regarding services like the spa.
Location
5.0
The location is peaceful, but it feels quite isolated. It's a long drive from Ubud, and there aren't any nearby shops or restaurants.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited and didn't meet my expectations. The food quality was inconsistent, and there were few choices for different dietary needs.
Facilities
5.0
The pool area looked nice but was not well-maintained, making it unusable at times. Overall, the facilities need more attention.

I had a wonderful time at Anahata Villas and Spa during my recent trip to Ubud. The setting was really peaceful, perfect for relaxation. The room was lovely, and I appreciated the complimentary massage and afternoon tea. However, I did find the bathroom layout a bit strange as it had a glass wall, and there was some noise from nearby roosters and a mosque early in the morning. Overall, it was a lovely experience, but a few aspects could be improved.
Rooms
8.0
The room was luxurious, but the bathroom layout with a glass wall in the middle was unusual, making privacy a concern.
Service

The service was exceptional; the staff went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable, and I appreciated their genuine care when I felt unwell.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location is scenic and quiet, surrounded by nature, but it is quite steep, which can be a bit challenging for accessing the villas.
Dining

While the breakfast was decent, I found the selection a bit limited for the price we paid per night, and some dishes were slow to be replenished.
Facilities

The facilities, including the pool, were well-maintained and added to the relaxation of my stay.

My stay was incredibly relaxing, with beautiful scenery and a tranquil atmosphere in the jungle. The complimentary shuttle to Ubud was a huge plus, but be prepared for a bit of isolation if you're there for longer than a few days. While the food options at the hotel were decent, I found the breakfast a bit lacking at times. Overall, it's a lovely retreat, but just not perfect in every aspect.
Rooms
6.0
Our villa had a unique layout with three floors, but it felt dated and unfortunately had a moldy smell. The bathroom design was a bit strange, with visibility issues from the common areas, which made for an awkward shower experience.
Service
7.0
The service was generally considerate and welcoming, though we encountered some miscommunication regarding our requests. They did have a hard time accommodating a late check-out, which was a bit disappointing.
Location
9.0
The location is simply stunning, surrounded by the beauty of the jungle, perfect for relaxation. However, it's quite remote, which means you're likely dining at the hotel for most meals unless you venture into Ubud.
Dining
6.0
Dining at the hotel was okay, though I found the breakfast selection quite boring with slow refills, and there were ants crawling on the food at times. It could definitely use an upgrade in variety.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities were decent but there's room for improvement, especially regarding the dining area and equipment like the exercise bike, which wasn't functioning well.
